    LOUIVILLE, Kentucky โ€” The Bellarmine College women’s basketball team welcomes Kennesaw State University to the ASUN Home Opener at Freedom Hall on Saturday at 1:00 PM ET.

    Bellarmine (4-11, 0-2 ASUN) and Kennesaw State (5-8, 1-1) will meet for the fourth time in series history, all at Freedom Hall. Due to the pandemic, the teams played back-to-back at his one site in 2020-21, with the Knights sweeping the contest at home before the Owls captured last season’s matchup.

    The previous three matches between the two teams have all ended with 7 or less points. Bellarmine won the first pair 73-67 and 62-60, and Kennesaw State beat him 72-65 in their most recent matchup.

    Bellarmine has gone 3-3 at Freedom Hall this season, starting 3-0 at home, including a 60-40 win over Evansville, before facing formidable opponents in Louisville, Wofford and Murray State. 3 straight losses to

Bellarmine trailed him 20-5 after the first quarter and the Lions got away with the contest in the second period.
