Plainfield earned their first win of the season by defeating Snyder 69–30 in the consolation third-place play-off of the North Plainfield Tournament at North Plainfield.

Imani Mullings scored a team-high 19 points and added 5 assists and 1 rebound for Plainfield (1-4). Hatherward had her 12 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 block and 1 steal while Nadilla Evans had her 10 points, 10 rebounds he double-double and 2 steals.

Plainfield controlled the game from start to finish, including leading 24-10 at the end of the first half and leading 39-16 at half-time.

The first quarter was when Snyder (0-6) was statistically the best with 10 points, but fell from there, scoring 6 points in the 2nd and 3rd and 4th quarters respectively. Scored 7 points.

Javaeh Agosto led all scorers, with Snyder scoring 28 points.
