The 2022-23 NBA season is halfway through, with some surprisingly good teams and some disappointing teams.

why?
- Kings: The Kings have yet to reach the NBA playoffs since the 2006 season. This is the longest drought in the entire NBA. They’ve had moments over the years where they seemed like a good team, but faded as the season progressed. Currently, the Kings are the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference, with him going 27-19 in his 46 games. The new head, his coach Mike Brown, was a perfect fit, and the acquisition of Kevin Harter was massive (he averaged 15.5 points per game, and his 3-point shooting percentage from range was 41.4% of him).
- Pacer: of The franchise appeared to be in rebuilding mode as the Pacers traded out key veterans like Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon and Caris Levert over the past 12 months. Last year, they were his 13th seed in the Eastern Conference with his 25-57 record. But the team could be even better than it was in the days of Saboins, Brogdon and LeVert. Tyrese Halliburton is playing like his NBA All-Star, averaging 20.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, 10.2 assists and 1.8 steals per game, while his 3-point shooting percentage from range is his Close to 40%. They have played their last seven games without Halliburton and are still 24-25, the 9th seed in the Eastern Conference.
