With the win, Anaheim improved to 4-2-1 over their last seven games and 16-29-5 overall. The Ducks have won his third straight for the first time this season and are scoring points in his sixth straight against the Coyotes (4-0-2).

Zegras gets extra ranking points for ducks in overtime, John Klingbergfinished with two assists. Max Jones I also scored in Anaheim.

John Gibson It was his 10th win of the season, his 3rd in his last 4 starts, and stopped 32 of 33 shots in Arizona.

Anaheim had 45 shots over the net in the win. This is the club’s best total of the season.

Nick Ritchie scored the Coyotes’ lone goal during the season as they fell to 16-28-6 and 6-20-4 away. Netminder Connor Ingram kept Arizona in the game early on before he made 43 saves in the ill-fated loss.

Anaheim dominated territorially for much of the first period, but it was Arizona who returned to the locker room with an early lead despite a 16-10 Ducks dominance in shots.

The Ducks nearly found the first goal of the night on several occasions first in a mad scramble in front of the Coyote net that had the entire building holding their breath. Anaheim then continued to pressure Power throughout his play, with a Grade A look tightened by McTavish and one-timed by Silf Belberg shortly after.

Instead, Arizona went first and an old friend delivered the opening salvo. Roughing his two minutes after his penalty expired, Richie held the puck at his line at the Anaheim Blue and pushed it back into the zone of Christian his fisher behind the net. Fischer then stepped forward and returned the favor to Richie, slipping a cross-seam pass that Richie lifted before former teammate Gibson slipped.

Richie, the 10th overall pick in Anaheim in 2014, has scored 3 points (1-2=3) in his last two games and has 9-12 = 21 points in 47 games this season. .

Former Duck almost added to Arizona’s advantage in the middle frame, gaining inside positioning in a low slot and shoveling a rebound off the side of the net home, but Gibson to keep it well on the left pad. It is a one-goal game that extends horizontally.

Dax finally settled Ingram late in the second period, signaling “Bro Himun” for the first time on his 30th shot of the night inside the Honda Center. Klingberg fired along the wall of the right flank, which was blocked en route. Jones loosely won the race against his pack, but fired Lister over Ingram’s glove to bring the ducks back to level.

Jones has scored in 2 of his last 5 games (2-0=2). With primary assists, Klingberg found the scoresheet in 3 of his last 6 appearances (1-3 = 4).

That 1-1 deadlock continued into a truly wild 3-3 overtime session, filled with quality scoring opportunities and breakaways on both sides. Anaheim nearly missed his 1-0 looks in his two innings with Ingram, and Gibson defended Jakub He was Chiklung’s incredible robbery, giving Arizona no extra points.

The dam finally broke at 86 seconds, going into overtime.

Zegrath has scored in 11 of his last 13 games (8-7=15). The game winner marked his third OT goal of his career, his second goal of the season. The 21-year-old is tied for eighth among his NHL leaders in January goals (8).
