    Bethlehem, Pennsylvania — The 2022-23 Patriot League Women’s Basketball Conference Play season begins with five games on ESPN+ on Friday, December 30. The Boston College-Navy Kickoff League will take place at 1:00 PM in Annapolis. At 2 p.m., Bucknell has Holy Cross and Lehi has Army West his points. Loyola Maryland goes to Colgate at 4pm and Lafayette goes to American at 7pm.

    Patriot League GEICO Women’s Basketball Weekly Awards

    Lehi’s senior forward Franny Hottinger was named the Patriot League’s GEICO Women’s Basketball Player of the Week three times. Hottinger tallied her team-high 21 points and had nine rebounds in her 70-63 win over Yale. Colgate freshman guard her Madison Schiller won Rookie of the Week for the second straight week. Schiller scored 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in Colgate’s final non-conference game of the season.

    Patriot League overall stats leader

    Lehi’s Franny Hottinger leads the league in points per game (20.4), while teammate Mackenzie Kramer ranks second with 17.5 points. Army’s Sabria Hunter ranks first in his rebounds per game (12.3), followed by Loyola’s Rex with his Serien (10.1) and Hottinger (9.8). Lehi’s Anna Harvey has paced the league in his assists per game (4.4), while BU’s Sidney Johnson sits in second place (4.0) for him.

    As a team, Lehigh are averaging 73.4 points per game, followed by BU (65.0) and Colgate (62.3). Army leads the league in his offensive rebounds per game (12.7), followed by Loyola (11.9) and Holy Cross (11.4). The Mountainhawks have his 28.5 defenses per game. He leads the league in rebounding, and BU (28.2) is his second.

    Holy Cross leads the Patriot League at No. 174 in the latest NCAA Women’s Basketball NET Rankings. Boston College is her 203rd, followed by Lehi (204th) and Bucknell (207th). Colgate rounds out the top five in the league with 228.

    CBS Sports Network To Air Three League WBB Games

    Three Patriot League women’s basketball games will air on CBS Sports Network during the 2022-23 season, including the women’s championship game. The regular season TV schedule begins when Army hosts Navy on his Saturday, January 21 at 11 a.m. and Army moves to Navy on his Saturday, February 11. The Patriot League Women’s Basketball Championship will also air on Sunday, March 12 on CBS Sports Network. , at noon.

The women’s basketball program placed seventh in the GSR with a score of 97%, with Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehi and Loyola Maryland all scoring perfect scores.
