NEW YORK – Chicago White Sox pitcher Mike Clevinger is being investigated by Major League Baseball following allegations of domestic violence.
Olivia Feinstead publicly revealed the allegations in an Instagram post on Tuesday. We agreed to a one-year, $12 million contract.
“MLB launched an investigation after learning of these allegations,” the team said in a statement. will not comment until MLB’s investigation process reaches a conclusion.”
Sam Levinson, one of Clevinger’s representatives, did not respond to a request for comment.
Feinstead said she was the mother of Clevinger’s children and claimed to be the father of two other children. when he threw an iPad at me while I was pregnant,” and “finally disappeared when he strangled me.”

Athletic reported Feinstead said he notified MLB of her allegations last summer.

Clevinger is 51-30 with a 3.39 ERA over Cleveland (2016-20) and San Diego (2021-22). He was 0-1 in the Padres postseason starter.
Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer was suspended for two seasons by MLB last April under its domestic violence policy after an investigation began last July. Last month, an arbitrator reduced the suspension to 194 games, and the Dodgers released the former Cy Young Award winner. The suspension cost Bauer more than $37 million in damages from his three-year, $102 million contract through the 2023 season.
