One aspect of Hall of Fame Boston Celtics shooting guard Ray Allen’s game that allowed him to play at a high level into the final days of his NBA career was the day-to-day reenactment of his training regimen. it was a possibility.
The former UConn standout has cemented his bones in the league with his 3-point shooting, but his all-around game is a constant reminder to not only hone his craft, but to care for his body and mind. Polished and sustained by dedication.
Allen was known for his rock-solid diet and pre-game preparation, so people on Colin Stanton’s YouTube channel put together a clip documenting the Dalzell, South Carolina native’s pre-game shooting routine, calling Allen that. This is an example of why I made him an elite player.
Watch the clip embedded below to see how the former Husky star hit the shot before each game as part of his NBA game ritual.
