Dahmis Garcia’s road to playtime in 2023

This past season, guys like Dermis Garcia were a breath of fresh air offering hope for the future at the end of a pretty terrible season in Oakland A’s franchise history.

Before making his big-league debut with the A’s, Garcia had a .264 batting average, a .349 OBP, and had 13 homers in 68 games in Las Vegas. In his 30th inning, his first with the A’s, he was hitting . 333 with his two homers, gaining more playing time in the final month and plus of the season.
