Clemson Basketball want to storm Kassel.
The Tigers, undefeated in the ACC, play Wednesday (9 p.m. ESPNU) against Virginia Tech at Cassell Coliseum in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Clemson (11-3-3-0) is perfect in the ACC’s first three games for the first time since 2017-18 and sixth since joining the league in 1953. His final two beat Georgia Tech by 13 and North Carolina State by 14.
Virginia Tech (11-3, 1-2) is the defending champion of the ACC and won for the first time in program history under third-year coach Mike Young with 299 wins at Wofford.
The Hokies will be looking for their ninth victory in the last 11 games of the series. Clemson’s only win at Blacksburg came in 2013–14. The Tigers are Kassel and he is 1-7.
Clemson has the leading 3-point shooting percentage in the ACC. Senior guard Hunter Tyson had 31 points and 15 rebounds in Friday’s 78-64 win over North Carolina State.
