Tennessee is expected to see a massive exodus this offseason. Several talented players, including edge rusher Byron Young, could rise to the ranks of the NFL.
Young posted a message on his Instagram that he had received an invitation to the NFL Combine. Although not officially declared, Young said he accepted Reese’s invitation to the Senior Bowl in December.
He recorded 37 tackles and 7 sacks during the 2022 season. Young was one of the best pass rushers in his SEC and for the second season in a row led a talented defense in sacks.
Young also finished second on the team with 12 in tackles for losses.
The Volunteer secondary was less impressive, but Young and many others helped mask its obvious weaknesses on points. showed.
