    Why bills can cover

Buffalo is 7-7-1 against the spread this season, but has a 6-3-1 ATS in non-division games. All three of his losses in Buffalo are four points or less. Allen leads the offense second in total yards (402 per game) and fourth in scoring (28 points per game). The fifth-year quarterback has 4,029 passing yards and 746 rushing his yards, accounting for 39 touchdowns. He has a big receiver in Stefon Diggs who is third in the league with 1,325 yards and 10 TDs. Cincinnati’s defense ranks him 21st against passes (226 yards per game) and his fourth-lowest number of sacks in the league (26).

The bill should be no problem with expanding the drive. They convert on third down more than 50% of the time he does, the best in the NFL, but Cincinnati allows almost 40% (19th) of the time to convert. Buffalo’s run defense is his 4th best in the NFL (104 YPG), and the Bengals are 29th in rushing (98 YPG). See which side you go back to here.

    Why the Bengals Can Cover

Cincinnati is the NFL’s best team against the spread, going 12-3 this season and 20-3 in its last 23 games. Burrow was his second in the NFL in both passing yards (4,260) and touchdown passes (34), and the return of Jammer Chase made a big difference. His sophomore wideout totaled 960 yards and he has eight TDs despite missing four games. He has 32 catches for 355 yards in four games since his return. Tee Higgins (1,022 yards) and Tyler Boyd (711 yards) thrived in Chase’s absence. Running back Joe Mixon ranks third on the team with 55 receptions for 1,187 total yards.

The underdogs are 7-2 ATS in their last nine meetings, with the Bengals scoring 26 points per game (6th in the NFL) and allowing 20 (9th). The Bengals are tied for sixth-lowest turnovers (17) with his plus-3 turnover margin. The Bills are even in sales margins, but he has 24 deals, the second most in the NFL. See which side you go back to here.

How to make a Bengals vs. Bills pick

SportsLine’s model predicts a total of 50 total points. The model also shows that one side of the spread hits him more than 50% of the time. His MNF picks for this model can only be seen on SportsLine.
