To sell or not to sell? That was a question that had been on the minds of Los Angeles Angels owner Arte Moreno until Monday night, when he announced his decision not to go ahead with the sale of the club. turned on reaction From MLB Twitter. Here are the best ones.

Unfortunately, that could be the reaction from fans of other MLB teams. Arte Moreno, who became the owner of the Angels in 2003, has been less than successful in running the club.
Since the Moreno acquisition, the Angels have made the playoffs only six times and have never missed the postseason in the last eight years.
Not only that, but we’ve been blessed to have generation-defining stars like Albert Pujols, Mike Trout, and Shohei Ohtani on our roster over the years.
In fact, many Angels fans find Moreno’s ownership of the club painful. They thought they were finally free from his control, so the news of his flip-flop sale came as a big shock.

Even MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred reacted to Arte Moreno’s decision to sell the Angels.
From MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred (prepared statement):
“Despite buyers’ strong interest in the Angels, Arte Moreno’s love of the game is paramount to him.

Some fans weren’t buying what Manfred was selling as to why Moreno decided to keep the team.
In any case, MLB’s Twitter made a field day about Arte Moreno’s decision not to go ahead with the Angels sale.
