The HSOT Boys’ Basketball Rankings took a week off for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The vast majority of the top 25 ranked teams statewide remain, with a few notable exceptions. At the Olympics, he fell out of the rankings from second after losing 82-64 to 11th-placed Myers Park.
Rocky Mount have been unranked since No. 14 after losing several matches, including one-on-one with No. 13 Northern Nash. Washington County fell out of the rankings from No. 20 after losing to Barty and his team, who just missed the cut in this week’s rankings. The No. 21 Southern Nash also dropped out after losing several games.
Joining this week’s Top 25 are the undefeated Reidsville, the hot Butler team and the return of the enka team.
