Pelicans finally share some positive news about Zion Williamson

The New Orleans Pelicans offered a positive update on star Zion Williams injured foot.
There has definitely been a lot of talk surrounding New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson, who has actually not played a single game in the 2021-22 season. From the setbacks with a fractured right foot that prevented him from playing, to the drama around Williamson not right away inviting C.J. McCollum to the team after he was acquired at the trade due date. In terms of the injury, there is some favorable news to share.
On Wednesday, the Pelicans revealed that Williamson is experiencing enhanced bone recovery in his ideal foot. From there, he will have the ability to progress to “complete weight-bearing workouts and basketball activities.”.

The former first-overall picks novice season was cut short due to a knee injury. But in his 2nd season, Williamson showed promise during the 61-game stretch, as he averaged 27.0 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.7 helps while shooting 61.1-percent from the field.
Even with the favorable news, Pelicans fans are still waiting for main confirmation as to whether Williamson will in fact play this season.
