NFL Playoffs: Will Aaron Donald be suspended for run-in in Los Angeles Rams, Arizona Cardinals game?
Theres a precedent to this matter with Donald. This isnt the very first time hes been included in something like this. The last time Donald had an event that was similar to this, he was hit with a fine for a strong quantity of cash. The NFL ended up slapping him with a $10,300 fine for his actions.
Thats not an irrelevant quantity of cash. Sure, guys like Donald can cover that without much of a problem, but the NFL is certainly taking note of these sorts of incidents.
It appears not likely that the NFL will actually do much more than put a fine down for Donald to pay when more. Given their previous reaction to his actions, theres not exactly much reason to believe he would be suspended.
You probably should not hold your breath with the hope that Donald will lose out on the next round of the NFL playoffs.
All that stated, this need tove never occurred. Theres no reason for minutes like this to exist and this is something the NFL should do more to prevent. Steeper fines or possible significant suspensions are actions that need to be considered.
