The Los Angeles Rams signed previous Cleveland Browns pass receiver Odell Beckham Jr. on Thursday. Here are the official details of the agreement.
The Los Angeles Rams were already a Super Bowl-or-bust group prior to Thursday night. They further strengthened it after they signed pass receiver Odell Beckham Jr., just days after he was released by the Cleveland Browns.
At the time of the Rams announcement, all that was understood is that it was for the rest of the 2021 season. There were no monetary information exposed at the time. That all changed on Thursday night, thanks to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

One of the incentives is $500,000 for Beckham if the Rams win the Super Bowl this year.

Odell Beckham Jr desired to be a complimentary representative and he was prepared to give up money to do it. As Beckham and the Browns were working out a release, the team voided the last two-years remaining on his deal. That was not the case, as Beckham listened to offers from interested groups and picked to sign with Los Angeles.

Odell Beckham Jr desired to be a totally free representative and he wanted to offer up money to do it. Based upon group accomplishments– the last of which is $500K with a Super Bowl win– he can make more with the #Rams than he was due with the #Browns. https://t.co/ZlO4WVtWIg.

As Beckham and the Browns were negotiating a release, the group voided the final two-years remaining on his offer. With that, he would have ended up being a free representative at the end of the year if he had been claimed off waivers on Tuesday afternoon. That was not the case, as Beckham listened to deals from interested teams and selected to sign with Los Angeles.
With this offer, Beckham has the opportunity to compete for the Lombardi Trophy this season, and will hit totally free company at the end of the season.
