Baker Mayfield is preparing to start for the Cleveland Browns vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers.
After getting injured in the Arizona Cardinals video game two weeks ago, it seems as though Baker Mayfield will be doing whatever in his power to get the start for the Cleveland Browns vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday afternoon.
According to ESPNs Jake Trotter, Mayfield is getting all the starters reps in practice on Wednesday, while recentlys starter Case Keenum is getting the backup reps. Keenum led the Browns to a narrow 17-14 victory over his former team in the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football recently. Though Mayfield appears to be well-rested, rushing him back is a huge mistake.
The loser of the Steelers at Browns game could be in rough shape in the AFC North standings.

At the start of the year, the Browns had a group on paper potentially excellent enough to win the AFC. While this team still has the skill to make the playoffs once again and perhaps even win the department if they capture fire in the second half, they are not achieving any of that if Mayfield is not healthy down the stretch. Keenum is a top-five backup in the league, a resource worth utilizing right now.

Cleveland should be grateful the Steelers are not the toast of the AFC North department today.
