Astros: Will Lance McCullers pitch in the World Series?

While there was some glimmer of hope he might return in time for the World Series, he is not going to be able to pitch on the greatest stage vs. the Atlanta Braves this October. Getting to the World Series is just par for the course for Houston now. While they won their first World Series championship as a franchise in 2017, they lost in Game 7 to the Washington Nationals in 2019.

Houston will need to adapt to life without its best pitcher for yet another postseason series.

Astros ace Lance McCullers will not be able to pitch in the World Series. He assisted Houston into the LCS, however he hasnt been able to toss given that.

The Houston Astros will not have their ace pitcher Lance McCulllers for the World Series.
Despite being substantial for the Houston Astros in their ALDS series success over the Chicago White Sox, they will once again be without their ace pitcher in Lance McCullers.
This kept him off the Astros ALCS roster in their best-of-seven series vs. the Boston Red Sox. While there was some glimmer of hope he could return in time for the World Series, he is not going to be able to pitch on the greatest phase vs. the Atlanta Braves this October.
Houston has home-field advantage and opens as a preferred over the Braves worldwide Series.
