Dana White teases huge things for Fight Island following the U.S. travel vaccine mandate.
Dana White and the UFC will need to get imaginative with some of the international battles moving forward after the U.S. federal government revealed a new vaccine mandate in regards to tourists to the nation.
The newly-announced travel policy requires all overseas tourists to be completely immunized to fly to the states, which undoubtedly will affect some fighters who choose not to get immunized against COVID-19.
Throughout his Dana Whites Contender Series Week 8 presser, White teased more possible reservations in Abu Dhabi following the brand-new U.S. required.

Dana White and the UFC will go back to Fight Island for UFC 267 on Oct. 30.
White has teased a series of big growths and prepare for the UFC and Fight Island going forward. The cards held over in Abu Dhabi were a massive success in 2020, and the same is anticipated for UFC 267s light heavyweight title battle between Jan Blachowicz and Glover Teixeira.
Looking ahead to next month, White and the UFC might have some concerns on their hands with approaching global headliners Ketlen Vieira and Yair Rodriguez. Both of their vaccination statuses have not been revealed.
Regardless, it appears that the UFC and White may have big strategies for Fight Island going forward, as the world continues to adapt to the new typical during the pandemic.
