The Seattle Seahawks are apparently pretty desperate to find a quarterback with Russell Wilson being hurt.
Things are a little grim for the Seattle Seahawks right now. The Seahawks are off to a 2-3 start and are currently sitting at third in the NFC West. One could argue that theres still plenty of season left to get things turned around. If Russell Wilson wasnt out after he had surgical treatment on his thumb, that would be true.
And sadly for the Seahawks, the healing time for that injury does not look fantastic as Wilson is out for anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks since of it. Hell be on the sideline for a little while, so where should the Seattle Seahawks turn?
Well, according to a tweet from Field Yates, Seattle is apparently desperate sufficient to offer Blake Bortles a shot.

Bortles hasnt seen significant playing time in a few years. Its been a considerably amount of time since the last time he began a game in the NFL. Seattle could, and should, store around rather than just settling on Bortles. Hey, possibly Bortles will reveal up and perform much better than anybody would perhaps anticipate.

Bortles hasnt seen substantial playing time in a couple of years. Its been a considerably amount of time because the last time he started a video game in the NFL. His newest playing time came in 2019 when he belonged to the Los Angeles Rams.
While there, Bortles tossed 2 total passes. Among those was finished for a grand overall of 3 backyards.
Thats not exactly terrific!
On top of that, his time in Jacksonville had plenty of ups and downs as Bortles threw for 103 goals and 75 interceptions while completing 59.3 percent of his passes over 5 seasons.
There are other quarterbacks out there. Seattle could, and should, shop around rather than simply choosing Bortles. Theres still time to offer some other quarterbacks a look. But hey, possibly Bortles will reveal up and perform better than anyone would perhaps expect.

Following Russell Wilsons injury, the Seahawks are exercising QB Blake Bortles.

Blake Bortles would make little sense for the Seattle Seahawks.
