Aaron Rodgers and Mike Tomlin shared a cool moment of shared regard after the Steelers coach pulled one over on the Packers QB.
Theres a scene in the motion picture Heat where the Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro characters fulfill in the middle of their cat-and-mouse chase. Theyre on opposite sides of the law, but they share a shared regard for the devotion the other one needs to his craft. If one wasnt chasing the other for robbing banks, perhaps they could even be great friends.
We had a moment like that at Lambeau Field on Sunday afternoon.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers shared a moment of mutual respect after the latter idea he had actually managed one of his signature a lot of men on the field penalties that have offered him many free plays throughout the years.
Tomlin was able to call a timeout in the nick of time, which not just prevented a charge however gave us a cool minute in between the 2 as they exchanged appearances. As authorities blew the play dead, Rodgers appeared to shoot a smile at the Steelers sideline as Tomlin gave him an appearance as if to say “you thought you d get me, didnt you?, and it was awesome.

Sure it was just a cool little minute of respect between the 2, but Steelers fans are currently talking themselves into it being the first flirt of what could be the blossoming of a relationship that ends with Rodgers moving in with Tomlin in the Steelers locker room.
Thats a wild leap, but its also enjoyable to picture these things. Rodgers is all but certainly going to be playing someplace other than Green Bay next year, and the Steelers will need a quarterback after Ben Roethlisberger retires. Tomlins team is still constructed to win a Super Bowl now, and Rodgers would basically be transferring to East Coast Green Bay, albeit with a much better head coach and a chance to restore some glory to a storied franchise.
Once again, it was simply an exchange of looks and we can appreciate it as the cool moment it was.
