Marthin Hamlet didnt need much time to complete Cezar Ferreira and advance to the 2021 PFL featherweight champion bout, however it seemed little to none of the damage done in the semifinal battle was of his own doing.
Ferreira threw a left front kick to the body to begin the action. Mere seconds later, Ferreira weeps out in discomfort, getting at his best hamstring and falling to the mat.
Hamlet quickly threw a couple of strikes from the leading to get the TKO at 13 seconds.

I blame this potential hamstring injury on the fighters needing to wait an extra hour, heating up and cooling off the entire time. #PFL 9 #PFLPlayoffs.

Hamlet was celebrating that injury like a wild male! If my course to a million dollars was that easy, I most likely would do the same thing. #PFLPlayoffs.

The main card of PFL Playoffs 3 was set up to start at 10 p.m. ET but was postponed by about 30 minutes due to a high school football game on ESPN2– and the battle didnt begin for another approximately 15 minutes.

Could the fact that the fighters were heating up/ stopping/ warming up longer than normal due to the delay been the supreme consider Ferreiras injury? #PFLPlayoffs #PFL #MMA.
