With an additional opportunity paid for by means of the Hall of Fame Game, these three Pittsburgh Steelers are defending their tasks this preseason

The NFL preseason has lastly been cut down to 3 games this year, for the majority of groups. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys will play the Hall of Fame Game Thursday night, so gamers on those two groups who are on the lineup bubble get an extra opportunity in game conditions to prove themselves worthy.
Basically, there wont be lots of crucial or recognizable Steelers or Cowboys on the field Thursday night. Those that do play wont play much, so pretty much by the second quarter itll be mainly a display of names nobody will need to keep in mind. However with that display, as discussed, comes a chance.
With that in mind, these three Steelers who are competing for their task better make the most of the chance that starts on Thursday night.

OLB, Steelers

The lack of T.J. Watt, as he waits for a contract extension, will produce chances for others up until further notice (not simply Thursday night). Marsh played eight video games for three groups last season (Colts, Steelers, Jaguars), and hes mainly been a special teamer throughout his profession with 14 career sacks.
The Steelers took a flier on Quincy Roche in the sixth round of the draft, including some upside (and competition) to their edge rush mix. Marsh must not lack opportunity all preseason to show what he can do as a pass rush, and he enters the Hall of Fame Game attempting to get off the incorrect side of the lineup bubble.

Merely put, there will not be numerous key or recognizable Steelers or Cowboys on the field Thursday night. With that showcase, as mentioned, comes an opportunity.
