Yankees starting pitcher Michael King got himself into an early jam after walking Marcus Semien, allowing a single to Bo Bichette and throwing a wild pitch to advance both runners to 3rd and 2nd. But all of those were negated after Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a ground ball to King, and the Yankees infield profited from the doubtful decision-making by the Blue Jays on the base path.

They made things harder for themselves thanks to some rather dreadful base-running.
