NBA Twitter trolls Nuggets for falling behind 0-3 to Suns

Phoenix held a ten-point lead after the very first quarter, and a fourteen-point lead heading into the fourth. It seemed like the Nuggets were battling from behind all night, and they never could rather sway momentum in their favor regardless of the home-court advantage at Ball Arena.

A 30 point, 10 assist, 20 rebound night from Jokic wasnt enough to put the Nuggets over the top. The loss of Jamal Murray for the season is lastly raising its awful head for a Denver team that had such high expectations heading into the season.
With Murray leading the backcourt, who understands how far this Denver group could have gone? Now, theyre staring elimination in the face.

The Denver Nuggets deal with a near-insurmountable deficit to the Phoenix Suns.
Behind a combined 55 points from Chris Paul and Devin Booker, the Suns took a 3-0 lead over the Nuggets on Friday night.

Even the simplest of puns had to be made.
Denver has high hopes for next season, even should their 2021 project fall short of its ultimate goal. The Nuggets stay young and, with Jokic and Murray both under 30 and under agreement for the foreseeable future. Theres no reason they shouldnt be in this position again next year.
That doesnt make it any easier to process for Nuggets fans in the moment. Stay calm, Denver. Your time is coming.

I feel quite good about The Nuggets next season.

The night started well for Nikola Jokic, who existed with his very first MVP award, and offered a speech to the home fans. Sadly, that great minute only lasted a few minutes, due to the fact that once the video game started the Suns took control early.

Its going to be 118 in Phoenix Tuesday the Nuggets want no part of that.
