The triumph was only Perezs second in F1, making it even more surprising for regular fans of the sport. Despite Perezs success, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix was spoiled by scary crashes throughout both certifying and the real race itself. Fortunately, in spite of numerous tire failures, it appears all chauffeurs were fine.
At one point, Hamilton sought to have 2nd place to himself, just to suffer a tire failure on a reboot, dropping him far behind the pack.

Paradoxically enough, it was Hamiltons impatience that ultimately got the very best of him. Early in the race, the veteran chauffeur told his group that this was “a marathon, not a sprint.” When it would have benefitted him to continue with care, he crashed and made an unexpected mistake into the wall, handing the race to Perez and costing himself valuable points.
Perez, meanwhile, should have credit for holding strong.
Meanwhile, it was a rough go online for Hamilton.
The race itself yielded a spectacular outcome, not simply due to Perezs win, however Hamiltons defeat at the hands of … himself.

Sergio Perez shocked all of us in taking home the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, over title favorites Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.
Both Hamilton and Verstappen failed to protect a point in the race. Sebastian Vettel (driving an Aston Martin) was 2nd, while Pierre Gasly finished third.
