What a “grand” method for the Twins to open up the game.
For Sano, the groups four-run lead was lowered by one in the bottom of the very first inning, following a leadoff home run by Jose Rojas off Twins starter Jose Berrios. Luckily, the group was able to escape the inning without further damage.
Following this grand slam, Sano now has seven crowning achievement to his credit thus far in the 2021 campaign.
