What an offseason its been for the Kansas City Chiefs and basic manager Brett Veach. The finalizings, especially for the offensive line, have been nothing except outstanding. At the same time, there were some doubtful moves made in the NFL Draft that upset fans.

3. Taking LB Nick Bolton over WR Terrace Marshall Jr
. With the Chiefs first choice in the draft, Kansas City was on the clock at No. 58 overall. Fans were confident that Veach and Co. would head out and get a stud wideout with that first choice. With Sammy Watkins signing up with the Baltimore Ravens, the idea of a stud rookie receiver sure was exciting.

Kansas City decided to enter another direction, though, and drafted Missouri linebacker Nick Bolton. While Bolton might show to be a stud starter in this league, linebacker really didnt feel like a position of need early on for the Chiefs. This was an area they most certainly might have focused on later on in the draft.
To make matters worse for the Chiefs supporters, standout LSU pass receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. was taken by the Carolina Panthers with the extremely next pick. Marshall was there for the taking at No. 58, however Kansas City handed down him. This is something that was tough to swallow.
Imagine Marshall capturing the ball from mind-blowing signal-caller Patrick Mahomes. It could have actually made the Chiefs offense that much more explosive. Unfortunately, Veach entered a various instructions. Lets hope he does not go on to regret that next winter season.
