Gordon Hayward Signs 4-Year, $120 Million Deal With Hornets

Gordon Hayward prepares to sign a four-year, $120 million deal with the Charlotte Hornets, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Haywards choice to sign with the Hornets ends an unusual three-year relationship with the Boston Celtics.
Its not prepared for that the Celtics will get anything in return through indicator and trade for Haywards departure.
Instead, the Hornets prepare to waive Nicolas Batums $27.1 ending agreement to establish the wage cap location required to sign Hayward.
Haywards time in Boston was ruined by numerous injuries, including and exemplified by a gruesome leg injury minutes in to his Celtics occupation.
Now Hayward will have an opportunity to play a similar function to what he had with the Utah Jazz as the second or very first alternative in the offense.
Hayward is still capable of dipping into an elite level– obvious by his stats from last year averaging 18PPG, 7RPG, and 4APG on 50% shooting from the field, 38% shooting from 3, and 86% shooting from the line.
Not to mention that Hayward simply had an average 19% use rate in his 3 years in Boston.
The Celtics will aim to 2nd year player Romeo Langford and novice Aaron Nesmith– both # 14 options in the NBA Draft– to fill Haywards lack at the wing.
